This is one of two pairs of antique ladies legs calipers I found in Maine this past week

with one small tear in the leather of one sleeve near the elbow

I really like whoever saw the beauty in this piece of wood

a jacket pocket

and a few small moth nibbles as evident--all of which seem appropriate to me for the armband of a guide who surely had do some sort of bushwhacking
