Like the Malconsorts this intensely mineral-driven effort is somewhat less structured than usual though it certainly doesn’t lack for power and punch
It still has a deep colour with little ageing on the rim
There are lovely spice nuances present on the cool but ripe nose that combines notes of mineral reduction and tidal pool with those of various white orchard fruit scents

While the medium weight flavors also possess solid mid palate concentration and a velvety mouth feel, the supporting tannins are somewhat drying and this tends to cut the finish short.
