boldly graphic but with a wonderful presence of the hand

and believe it was only ever produced in a small batch of prototypes--and the set I had included no money

and quite a rare and concise little piece of New York (and roadway) history

Really quite amazing, and seems to me it may indeed be the work of a very dexterous, patient, high achieving kindergarten teacher, late 19th very early 20th century,
