It appears that the date carved into the bottom is 1974

so was especially glad to find these two arm chairs

The cow is just shy of 5" long

)  This one is by Don Curreri (1930-2014)

And note that even the hand-drawn eyes are hearts (with long eyelashes)

I know from the NYC based dealer I purchased it from that the artist's name was Peter Feldman, who he believed was originally from Argentina and immigrated to the United States in the early 1980's. It's a casual painting, on lightweight cardboard, but I think it feels voluptuous and full of life,
