Ninety and Nine, Late 19th Century Punch Paper Embroidery with Lost Lamb, Original Frame hand colored that one 1910 and inIt strikes me that framed punch paper embroideries were the sort of precursor to printed plaques one sees now in home stores declaring things like "it's Good to Be Home" or "God Bless this Mess." And indeed the antique punch paper embroidery one most commonly sees declares "God Bless Our Home."
