There is one sticky drawer but the rest slide open easily

and is stamped on the bottom “Made in France

The lion has a small chip to one front paw and the higher a hairline split down one hind leg and both no longer have tails

This specific image of profiled figure in feather headdress dates to 1919 of not earlier

which strikes me every time I look at it

Rare, Unusual Old Tin Litho Penny Toy Inclined Car (Funicular?) candle sticks There is one sticky drawerI've done a fair amount of searching but can't find another old tin litho penny toy like this cool inclined one, which perhaps connected to a few others and a very steep ramp. I love it as its sits on a flat surface now, making everything around it feel askew. And hard to be the terrific color scheme, and very gangster looking driver at the helm! I can't find a mark on it and as I can't find another am not sure of the maker. Pre WWII I would guess.
