I love a good lacquer box

with scattered smudges/light stains to the card

I think they are just lovely

And, stripped of what was likely a hide or fur covered parka though still wearing her beaded moccasins she felt a bit vulnerable. Found in Maine, and I believe Inuit, she has a well stuffed cotton body, hide head and hands, hand embroidered face, and black yarn braided hair. C. 1920s 40s I believe
