I purchased this piece at an estate sale in Ipswich

Late 19th century or so I'd think and in very good condition

Squinting, but wide open. I like how her bonnet reads a bit like a big head of hair, too. I'd like to think she was the carver's mother or grandmother, maybe as she appeared ready to go to church. 5 1 2" tall x 1 3 8" wide x 3 4" deep.
