This has plenty of extract and should have no problem evolving well because the tannins are both round and reasonably ripe

The Villero is a balanced and polished Barolo that opens to nicely integrated fruit and spice tones

There is excellent punch

Finishes with serious tannins that turn a bit dry with air

concentrated and packed with sweet

Domaine Ponsot, Corton Bourdon Vintage:2013 This has plenty of extract(a bourdon is a bumblebee). A markedly earthy nose features notes of very ripe dark currant, game and leather hints. Here too there is a lovely sense of energy and punch to the muscular but not really rustic broad shouldered flavors that also possess very good if not sensational mid palate concentration before culminating in a balanced and palate coating finish.
