1881 Leather Covered Notebook, Mostly Blank carved wooden Assuming the formerI quite like the idea of filling a notebook ledger that began its life in the 19th century, which is what I would do with this pretty leather covered one, which is in good shape, sturdy, and ready to be used. I can't quite decipher the name written in ink on the inside of the leather cover flap or on the first inside page, but the date of August 18, 1881 is clear. Inside, I'd guess there are a hundred or so blank pages, along with a few remnants of
