I believe this birdcage dates from the 1930s or so

with a 2 1/4" diameter at base and 3/4" diameter at lip

as they seemed rather less concerned with the details of the face of this presumably Dutch man--sweetly and a bit hesitantly penciling in eyes

there is more warmth and golden-ness to the finish than is coming across in the photos

But as there are two complete sheets and also two with some of the animals long ago removed, one could punch some out for play and frame the complete sheets.
