I like that he's got nothing more than a tiny blue dot for an eye and red one for the nose
purchased from the estate of art professor & art historian Jill McKeever Furst
I believe these date between 1870-1890
and three small green diamonds at the center of opposite sides

Of course I like it for the EYE (as in Critical Eye, too), but also for how it breaks the eye done into its component parts, and especially for all of the connotations of the eye being private! 19 1 8" x 16 1 4" x 11 16".
