from very detailed architectural drawings to more rural and pastoral scenes

The blocks are 7/8" cubed

the only flaws seem to be the irregularities in the glaze that are original to the piece

Antique Handmade Mechanical Valentine: The One Who Hides antique wooden case The fact that this dapperWhile most we certainly made by schoolgirls, this and one other must have been made by a mother or a teacher as they're quite skillfully done, moving parts and all! I especially love the tiny arm of the girl in this one, with a tiny heart painted on it, and which rests on the wall such that her little head just peeks up! 5" t x 3 5 8" w. The hand of the boy is lost if it ever existed, but it's easy to conceal his arm! Otherwise very good condition.
