This could use a bit more overall depth
It seems this is the year when Adrien Dhondt has fully realized the site's potential
Rich and earthy
At once pure
Philippe Pacalet, Cote Rotie Vintage:2019 but in balanceAged in older barrels and not yet bottled. Deep cherry red. Open and scented with pure black fruit and a gentle herbal (but not in the least green) note. Theres also a delicate rocky character adding precision. Mouth watering, moreish, powerful and still scented. Firm, chewy but fine tannins. Great harmony already. (JH)
