The fruit still shows plenty of intensity and the tannins have softened

An unobtrusive note of wood highlights the perfumed, airy and relatively elegant red berry fruit, spice and Gevrey style earth infused nose. There is a more evident minerality to the big bodied, sleek and muscular flavors that possess a lovely sense of underlying tension on the pungently saline finish.
