Friburgh who signed this watercolor, which surprises me some, as it is very finely done. Photos don't give a great sense of the richness of the sea itself, which was painted with hundreds of fine brushstrokes in a range of blues and greens, which make it feel as if we're out in very deep waters witnessing the scene.
