Someone more recently added a new fabric lining, which is not quite the choice I might have made, but it is clean and new and dust free! Chip carved of cigar box wood, with varnish over top. It seems possible there was once additional ornament on the front facing panel as there is a little scuffing there and one stray nail, but if so it does not feel
