Wool Remnant Hand Woven Rug 26 S25 and everyday elegance in aMadda Studio works closely with weavers in Teotitlan del Valle, Oaxaca, where weaving has been part of the culture for centuries. Each one of a kind rug is woven on traditional looms with a cotton warp and hand spun wool from Chiapas in the weft. The wool used is remnants and overage from other projects as part of their process to reduce waste. The result is a rustic flat woven rug with texture and dimension that is also soft to the touch and thicker
