The vamp (foot) is made with a tough brown timberjack steer. The heel is slightly tapered, and the toe is round. The heel is 1 5 8 tall, low enough to make it comfortable to walk in, and braced with a steel shank to make it comfortable in a stirrup. The Beck Tec sole has an 18 month warranty. It is smooth like leather,
