2016 Fumey-Chatelain Vin Jaune, Jura, France Hanzell Vineyards and quite dry in styleThe 2016 Arbois Vin Jaune comes from a beautiful vintage for flor wine (better than 2018), and the wine displays very good acidity and freshness. It's the best wine they have done in the last few years. This comes from the lieux dits Au Barbi, Sauvagny and La Vase, all on blue marl soils, and it matured the compulsory six years after the harvest under a veil of yeasts, during which time the wine suffered evaporation and concentration of everything:
