2021 Domaine de l'Octavin 'Elle Aime' Jura, Vin de France Islay which won World’s Best BourbonA blend of roughly three parts of Pinot Noir and one of Chardonnay, planted next to one another over limestone and marl in En Arces in Arbois. The two varieties were destemmed and infused together for two months before being pressed and returned to cuve for a year of levage. A vivid cherry red in the glass, it is featherweight on the palate, marrying gentle notes of red berries, blood orange and minerals to beautiful effect.
