Pierre Gimonnet Champagne Brut 1er Cru Rose de Blancs NV NET Labbe et Fils is a95% Chardonnay, half of which is Grand Cru and the other half 1er Cru, then finished with 5% of still red wine from Cumieres. A very pale pink color, almost rose gold, it shares some similarities with the always popular (and frequently out of stock) Billecart Salmon ros. But the Gimonnet is even more mineral and saline with a core of structure and acidity that is overlaid with very subtle raspberry and cranberry fruits. Delicious on its own, it is
